Service 01

Drop bury &
buried service wire

The drop is the last hundred feet of your network and the only part the customer ever sees. We bury it, test it, and put the yard back the way we found it.

Locates called · 36" typical depth · Restoration documented · Same-day closeout

Crew burying a residential service drop. Vibratory plow or walk-behind trencher cutting a line across a front lawn, orange locate paint visible on the grass, tech feeding conduit into the slit.

The problem

What actually goes wrong

Most of what goes wrong on a drop happens after the cable is in the ground. A slit that was never closed. A sprinkler line nobody called in. A depth nobody measured. Those come back as a truck roll, a claim, and a customer who tells the neighbors.

We run the drop as one job from locate ticket to restoration, and we hand back a record of it. Fiber or coax, aerial-to-buried conversions, and the ugly ones your crews keep pushing to the bottom of the list.

How we get it in the ground

01

Vibratory plow

Fastest method on open turf and the least disruptive when conditions allow it. Single pass, minimal spoil, lawn closes behind the blade.

02

Trenching

Where the plow will not go: rocky soil, tight easements, shallow utilities, or where the spec calls for a measured open cut.

03

Directional bore

Under driveways, sidewalks, mature root systems and anything the property owner would rather we did not cut. Entry and exit pits only.

04

Hand dig

Inside the tolerance zone of a marked utility, every time. No exceptions, no shortcuts, no matter what the schedule says.
